I started drawing from the figure in high school and continued through college, earning a dual undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis, in Studio Art and History of Art. Additionally, more than 20 years of experience as a bodyworker and functional movement instructor inform my digital work.
In 2025 I completed an MSc in Medical Visualisation (interactive and 3D digital illustration) and Human Anatomy at the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow, respectively. Now, I explore layers of anatomy and interrelated systems using Medical Visualisation tools like 3DSlicer, MITK Workbench, animation, motion capture, and 3D modeling in Blender aided by light python scripting.
I have what is currently called in the literature, Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity Syndrome (EHS). Most recently, according to the Children's Defense Fund, it is being renamed Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome (EMRS). I challenge terms such as syndrome, which place blame on the body experiencing harm rather than on the technological environments producing radiofrequency exposure.
The human organism is not defective in sensing its surroundings.
Our bodies are perceptive instruments, capable of registering changes across many layers of biology and environment. From neuron to microtubule, to the molecular structures within them, and deeper still into the atomic and subatomic scales—the rarified substrate, the material basis of consciousness.
My work explores these layered anatomies, where biological, electrical, and subtle bodies meet.
Subtle bodies are bodies too! Steal Back Your Muladhara!
Below, I also share some writing samples and selected highlights of my 2D work, including oil paintings, watercolors, and Chakra Odyssey: The Voyager Awakens to SPIN— my graphic novella and coloring book about the subtle body.
Check out my developing Movement Classes in Toroidal Flow. This is my embodied movement practice that weaves through my work.
