LVSkelly is our affectionate nickname for this beautifully—and fully—retopologised, anatomically detailed human skeleton, created by 3D artist LeoVitalis.
Uploaded only recently, the model is accompanied by an extensive reference list—and one look at the topology makes clear just how much painstaking work went into building it. Every bone has been carefully reduced into clean, animation-friendly geometry while preserving the anatomical form.
Best of all for L&L, LeoVitalis generously released the model under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence, allowing us to adapt and use the work commercially with proper attribution.
Here, LVSkelly has been paired with free motion-capture animation from Mixamo (Golf Set-up). Through a process called retargeting, movement created for one digital character is transferred onto another character’s rig—essentially teaching LVSkelly someone else’s moves.
Not bad for a bag of bones. 💀🕺
That gives us an extraordinary anatomical foundation for MVP One. Our job now is to prepare, rig, animate and integrate LVSkinny into the Swing Build visualisation system—and, eventually, put LVSkelly inside Jody!
