26.08.2026; Wednesday’s Deliverable --->
We have decided on the five basic visualisations that are the basis for MVP One and so a round of applause and congratulations are due for all of us. Good job everyone!
With the aim of completing MVP.1 PRODUCTION in 10 weeks, we now need to sketch out how these visualisations will be presented to the User.
The exact specifics of how MVP.1 will be DEPLOYED are still to be fleshed out and will require input from Yaqi and D.Melrose. I estimate we can have that conversation in about 5-7 weeks.
For now, let’s get to the task of sketching out the full product so that we can divide the tasks into bite-sized pieces and find a work-flow.
Imagine you have just purchased the
Swing Build Systems -- Body Mechanics of the Swing
You’re on your phone. You’ve opened the product. What is the first thing you see?
Because you’re on your phone, you’re scrolling.
Now imagine you are designing the presentation of this product for the user. What is their User Experience? (Ux)
The User Interface and Content Blocks
Mobile phone display is unique in that blocks of content are shown in a “scrolling” format -- one after the other. i.e. The text is displayed above and below the embedded animation (not side by side.) These blocks of content need to be determined in the STORYBOARD process.
When played, the animation is presented in various ways (e.g. camera angles and special effects like particle emissions) and for varied purposes (e.g. highlight muscles; an aspect of body mechanics; a specific teaching point). These ways and purposes need to be determined in the STORYBOARD process.
When the animation is played by the user, a Narration by DB can enhance/reinforce the accompanying Lesson Text.
It is necessary to produce a Narration Script in order to: 1) time narration with animation, and 2.) upload to YouTube for subtitles to generate.
The Lesson Text reinforces the lesson, but is not a transcript of the Narration.
Therefore, each lesson will need to be considered carefully. In our Production Schedule, time will be allotted to work on these. In person meetings between Lauren and David Blair to work on this together.
